Finance Manager

I have been working for Echomaster since 2006 and am now firmly part of the furniture.  Over that time, I have turned my hand most jobs in the company from sales and invoicing to accounts processing and Marine Leasing admin. I have even been under the floor of a new build pulling in cables.  My primary role is Finance Manager with day to day responsibility for the accounts payable/receivable and financial reporting.

What three things would you take to a Desert Island?

• A garden fork
• Complete Sherlock Holmes collection
• Some seeds

What is the biggest misconception people have about your position?

That I am Arlene.  We apparently sound similar on answering the phone which can make it even more confusing.  

What’s the best place you have travelled to for work?

I have been lucky enough to travel to a few amazing places with work including Trondheim, Lisbon, Genoa as well as some beautiful places in the UK. The stand out trip was a visit to the US and Mexico for a conference and a guided tour around the Navico production facility in Ensenada.

Tell us something that we don’t know about you?

I have two masters degrees - neither of which are relevant to what I do now. 

What would we most likely find you doing at the weekend?

I have spent the last few years developing my garden. Over the summer months you will find me pottering in my greenhouse or in the garden, probably fighting the endless battle against weeds.
