I am responsible for inshore sales enquiries. I combine market leading products with my customer’s own individual requirements to provide tailor-made solutions, all within their chosen budget. Whether you require product spares or a full new build package, I will be there for you from order processing through to aftersales support, ensuring that an enjoyable and stress-free purchasing experience can be expected by all Echomaster Marine customers. Additionally, I am responsible for the design and implementation of business marketing & advertising strategies, daily management of the Echomaster Direct e-commerce website, account management for Echomaster approved dealers & distribution accounts, stock control/forecasting and events coordination.

What is the biggest misconception people have about your position?
The biggest misconception would be that working in sales is easy. It’s not necessarily complicated, but you are working under pressure every single day, trying to deliver what each customer needs as quickly as possible, whilst juggling a range of challenges including considerations of compliance & compatibility, engineer’s availability, vessel location and supply chain issues. When you work in an everchanging sales environment there is no way to plan for your day. You must adapt and adjust as each new call/email comes in, ensuring that your customer never feels like you already have too much on your plate to give them your full and immediate attention.
What would we most likely find you doing at the weekend?
Weekends are for spending time with my husband David and our Yorkshire Terrier Willow. On Friday nights we catch up with friends in our local pub before enjoying a cheeky takeaway dinner. Saturdays we enjoy walking Willow, pottering in the garden, dining out or finding a good DBB deal for a night away. Sundays are always finished off with a roast dinner, a large glass of wine and a film.
